Dental Bridges

Also known as a fixed partial denture, a bridge is a dental restoration
used to replace a missing tooth by joining a prosthetic tooth (pontic) to a minimum of two adjacent teeth. The teeth adjacent to the “gap” are prepared, the custom-made bridge fabricated and then cemented into place. Gaps left by missing teeth eventually cause the remaining teeth to rotate or shift into the empty spaces. The imbalance caused by missing teeth can also lead to gum disease, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, and possibly the loss of additional teeth. A permanent bridge might be just being the right solution for your healthy, beautiful new smile.
